The phrase below is from the 1988 hip-hop anthem by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock. For the piece I used the hip-hop reference to speak to a generation of designers that grew up listening to this music. The modernist feel of the poster also speaks the language of the designer and brings an ironically sophisticated flavor back to the hip-hop lyric.
